Participatory Action Research for Positive Change

Isabel Tataje WaldenströmMy name is Isabel Tataje Waldenström. I have a bachelor degree in International Migration and Ethnic Relations with a specialization in Gender studies. I decided to participate in the project because I have always had a big interest and engagement in matters that involve the contemporary situation of refugees and in the role that the European Member States have in providing asylum. What I found interesting about this project was the focus that it had on the situation of asylum seekers in the Swedish labour market and that the purpose was to create focus groups were asylum seekers and stakeholders could discuss their situation and ideas to improve their chances to get a job.
